The Corrections
- Each level appears to be the best and only level in existence. That is why churches tend to become spiritually stagnant. Each boasts of being the best and highest.
- About stagnation and complacency, Jesus warned,
15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 so then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth. 17 because you say,’ I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' — and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked — 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. Revelation 3:15-18
There are higher and higher heights, and deeper and deeper depths
- Lots of efforts are required for effective spiritual progress. But because people prefer idleness, they developed the irrelevant slogan “just believe”
- Friendship and relationship with a minister of God does not lead to spiritual progress, if the minister is not in the right way of worshiping God.
- A person at a spiritual level can only relate very well with those at the same level or those at a level little above or below. A person at 50% can best relate with those at 47% to 53%. Hence, a master converses best with a fellow master.
- In heaven, everybody goes to the plane for which he is best suited. A person cannot go to a plane at a higher level than his own, but he can go to the lower planes.
- In the world, there is mix up. All are in the same plane (world), though people are at different levels of spiritual maturity. You may even be surprised to know that the church member who stays at the back seat is far more spiritually advanced than the presiding reverend.
- The earth is God’s own school. Therefore, everybody should be very careful.
- It is not every person that performs miracle that is a man of God.
- God is not defined by religion, and He is not confined to a particular church. He is universal, available and accessible to whoever that worships Him in spirit and in truth.
- Unfortunately, most ministers of God are at a level below 40%. Worse still, they do not know it, and do not know that they should develop to higher levels.
- The religions and churches should discourage all forms of egoism, such as fame, unnecessary display of superiority, the ‘holier than thou’ attitude, etc.
- People think that everybody is at the same spiritual level. This false belief encourages spiritual laxity and laziness.
- People reject the truth from others, thinking that they are the only true children of God. Be open-minded, and yet, careful.
- People do not know that there are many paths that lead to God. Therefore, they tend to condemn people of other religions.
- Because of high level of ego, people at low spiritual level are disappointed and depressed for a long time if a bad compliment is made about them. They do not easily accept mistake, and are insistent on doing things the way they like.
